Mighty Mite MM2919-M Fretless Bass Neck Ebonol Fingerboard – Satin
The easiest way to convert your Fender or Squier Precision or Jazz Bass into a fretless! No need to rip the frets out of your original neck, this Mighty Mite Fretless neck is ready to drop right in to your existing Fender or Squier body. While based on the specs of a P-Bass neck (with 41mm nut width), this neck will install equally well on either a Precision or Jazz Bass body (the dimensions at the heel are the same). So if you install it on your Jazz Bass, it will also give it the wider feel of a P-Bass in the lower register.
Neck & Tuners
P-Bass style replacement neck features a fretless ebonol fingerboard. Ebonol is a synthetic material whose name derives from its similarity in appearance, hardness, and stability to ebony wood. The material is particularly well suited for the fingerboards of fretless bass.
Wood Variations & Assembly
Due to the nature of wood, no two necks are the same and may differ from what is pictured. Never force the neck into the pocket; it should just drop into the neck pocket or be a little snug. Remember that the finish of the neck and body will make the neck pocket smaller.
